We're pursuing something. We invite you to come with us.

Come with us in our pursuit. As a community we are always seeking deeper understanding of the Bible and asking questions about how what we find there interacts with our life and culture. We are always striving to live faithfully in every aspect of our lives, from our relationships to our vocations. We are always looking for ways to love our neighbors well and come alongside one another in the ups and downs of life. This is a growth process for all of us. We are collectively a work in progress, hoping to move from where we are to where God desires us to be. We all have questions and struggles. But we have a common purpose and direction and we’re working it out together. We invite you to join us.

There’s no formula for the Christian life, and there’s no scripted path for your involvement in our congregation. But we’d like to help you take intentional steps to move from curious to committed, from our guest to an integral part of the life and mission of the church.

It is not our goal to keep you busy. Our goal is to facilitate purposeful ways in which you (and others) can learn, serve, and find community together. Toward that end we try to be minimal and intentional, helping form our people to worship God and love their neighbors beyond the structured ministries we provide.

Worship Gatherings

A good first step is to join us for a worship gathering on Sunday. We meet every week at 9:30am in the Chapel (the northernmost building) on the campus of Scottsdale Presbyterian Church on Hayden and Osborn. To learn more about what we do (and why) on Sundays, click on the link below.

Welcome 'Class'

On the first Sunday of every month, we hold a very brief class directly after the worship gathering. Don’t let the term class intimidate you. We’ll simple take a few minutes to give an overview of Redemption Scottsdale, meet you face to face, and answer any questions you have about ways to get involved. You don’t have to make any decisions or commitments. Our hope is that you’ll leave with a better sense of who we are and where you would want to get involved.

There are also countless opportunities to serve in the church itself. Our biggest need right now is for volunteers in Redemption Kids (children’s ministry). Would you be willing to serve in children’s ministry one Sunday a month? Community Engagement (Local Missions)

We desire to be a truly local church, invested in the well-being of our city, loving our literal neighbors (especially the marginalized), and serving as a foretaste of the kingdom of God. This happens through structured, extra-curricular efforts, but also through the faithfulness of our people in the flow of everyday life. Learn how you can participate.

Redemption Communities (Small Groups)

Because of their more intimate scale and regularity of meeting, Redemption Communities (RC’s) facilitate close relationship like no other ministry of the church. This is the best place to know others well and be known yourself. The focus of these groups is on bearing one another’s burdens and working through the ups and downs of life together.
